Biography/History:
Stu Reininger is a marine consultant and contributing editor to MotorBoating magazine, reporting on boat handling and seamanship. Previously, he served as senior editor of Boating, Power & Motoryacht and Marine Log. Holder of a USCG 100 ton Master's license, he has worked as a delivery skipper with seven transatlantic crossings. He has also worked as a marine surveyor, charter captain, and master of ferries and other commercial vessels.
