West End School opened in October 1875. This book was published in 2015 to celebrate one hundred and forty years of education at the school. The school is situated in the West End of Elgin, the administrative capital of Moray, in the North East of Scotland. The present Head Teacher tells the story of the events and characters through the decades. From the opening of the school during the Victorian era, countless anecdotes record the passage of time. Most of all, this is a tribute to the staff and pupils who have contributed to the rich history of West End School.
