Every month we read a book and then get together on the last Friday of the month at 4pm to discuss what we thought about it!

We read a wide range of stuff, so you won't always like what we read, but that's the point of a book group, its about reading different stuff and thinking about what was good and what was rubbish about it!

If you enjoy good conversation and want to help or get help from other knitters and yarncrafters, join our free Knit n Natter Group at Elgin Library! We also do lots of team project work, such as our Autumn pumpkin display and incredible waterfall of poppies for Remembrance Day at the library. We re currently working on something for the summer... 

We meet every Friday and all crafts and abilities are welcome. Refreshments are provided. 

If you love reading, the Keith Book Group might be for you! Take some time for yourself and read a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction titles curated by our Reader Services Librarian, then pop into the library to have a chat with like-minded new friends about your thoughts.

Every Wednesday from 3.30pm - 3.45pm.

If you LOVE TO READ, are in P6-7, or are aged between 10-12yrs, then Junior Book Group at Lossie Library might be for you!

At Junior Book Group we talk about books, have a general chat, we read new stories and we make new friends :-)

There is a maximum of 5-6 in the group, so please get in touch if you would like to come along and we will make sure there is space and a book for you!

Do you like board games but have never played chess, and fancy giving it a go?

Do you simply want someone to play against? 

Join our new Chess Club at Lossie Library!

It runs every Tuesday between 5 and 6pm and is for kids 7yrs and over.

Sessions will be fun, relaxed and informal.

If you love to knit or crochet, or indeed any sort of yarncraft (we won't judge!), try out our popular Twisted Stitches knitting and crochet group! Share stories and projects, admire other people's yarn, and talk about your extensive stash with people that actually get it. All welcome!
